Tile Repair & Silicone Sydney
Repair damaged tiles and worn silicone before small problems become larger maintenance issues.
- Cracked Tiles
- Loose Tiles
- Silicone Replacement
Once a tile cracks, chips or comes loose, moisture and movement can find their way underneath it, affecting the tiles around it and the surface below. Grout that’s worn or missing lets the same thing happen at the joints, and silicone that has hardened, cracked or pulled away from a corner stops doing the job it was installed to do.
None of this needs to become a bigger job if it’s addressed early , a proper repair, matched to the material and the cause, is usually a straightforward fix. We assess before we recommend anything.
Repairs and resealing improve the condition and appearance of a surface. We don’t present any repair as a guarantee of full waterproofing, as that depends on the broader waterproofing system behind the tiles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you replace one broken tile?
Yes. Single tile replacement is one of our most common repairs, subject to a suitable matching tile being available.
Can you repair loose tiles?
Yes. Loose tiles are usually re-bedded or reset once we understand why the original bond failed.
Can you match existing tiles?
We do our best to source a close match in size, colour and finish. Discontinued tiles can’t always be matched exactly, and we’ll be upfront about that during assessment.
How often should shower silicone be replaced?
It varies with use and ventilation, but many bathrooms benefit from resealing every few years, or sooner if mould, cracking or separation appears.
Can mouldy silicone be replaced?
Yes. Mould-affected silicone is removed and replaced with a fresh, clean joint.
Do you remove old silicone first?
Yes, as standard. Old silicone is cut out and the joint is cleaned back before new silicone is applied.
Can you repair outdoor tiles?
Yes, including pool area and paved outdoor tiles, assessed for the conditions they’re exposed to.
How much does tile repair cost?
Cost depends on the number of tiles, the type of repair and whether matching tiles are needed. We provide a free quote after assessing the area or photos you send through.
